I snuck this bottle in one night (hence no poured shots), but I can’t keep it a secret at all. Full bodied, with aromas of bright fresh flowers and strawberries. It’s off-dry, but still quite crisp and very satisfying. The bottle looks huge, but the glass is pretty thick, so it went just as fast as any other bottle 😩😩😩

A Sauvignon Blanc that I can get down with! Who knew?
Light and crisp, but not tart (it doesn’t catch you in the side of your neck, like, right there), with distinct aromas of pear. Lovely chilled, super dry, but very mellow. From Spain.

Dry, but very pleasant box wine *gasp* from South France. #dontjudge A real pounder! Super smooth, light as a feather, and this unassuming packaging packs a whopping 3 litres, and will keep for 6 weeks (but you won’t let it, trust me!).

Mineral aromas with floral notes, beautiful crisp fruits with light traces of canteloupe on the tongue.
Pairs well with seafood, and is ever so slightly briny.

Fall is upon us, and I jumped into a glass that just embodied the season. A lovely mix of Merlot and Malbec, this one was velvety smooth, deeply fruity, and made me feel all warm inside, like the perfect cashmere sweater. I definitely got deep berry flavors, some vanilla, and when I paired it with food, I caught tar!
Call me what you want, but I live for new flavors and aromas in every pour. I’m having a great time exploring wine and everything about it!
The beauty of blends, I am learning, is they take the best of each varietal and bring you something special. I definitely had fun with this one and can’t wait to get my hands on some more.

This can help when you go on that nice date to that expensive restaurant and finally get to order that amazing steak with a fabulous glass of red. Wine etiquette is just as important when entertaining at home as well. Nothing spells impressive like presenting your friends with a perfectly chilled glass of white with some cute hors d’oeuvres!
